AoBS Certification is valid for three years. To remain aligned with updated protocols, evolving safety standards, the latest scientific evidence, and new clinical applications, re-accreditation is required to maintain active AoBS certification status.

Accreditation and CME credits
This On-Demand Online TMS Certification Program is officially accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). It offers the exact same level of accredited clinical certification as our on-site courses, without the need to travel to one of our course venues or adhere to a fixed schedule. You can study at your own pace, from the comfort of your home, clinic, lab, or anywhere you want– whenever you want.
Certificates and International CME credits will be awarded upon completion of the program.
American CME: Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.
Accreditation and re-accreditation according to the Dutch-Flemish Brain Stimulation Foundation
Our International Clinical TMS Certification courses – whether onsite, online live, or the on-demand program – are officially recognized by the Dutch-Flemish Brain Stimulation Foundation for TMS Certification (Stichting Hersenstimulatie).
We are authorized to grant both accreditation and re-accreditation for:
rTMS Professionals (prescriber)
rTMS Technicians (operator)
Each course grants 20 credits (from the Dutch-Flemish Brain Stimulation Foundation), which is the maximum number of points accepted for re-accreditation (nascholing / continuing education).
How it works
This comprehensive TMS training and certification program consists of two parts:
Part 1 (Theory)
After your booking you will have unlimmited online access to the following series of lecture recordings:

The entire theory part will take approximately 9 hours to complete. You can study at your own pace, either completing the entire program in just a few days with immediate certification (no waiting) or take your time and spread it out over several weeks or months – with unlimited access for up to 3 months initially, and the option to extend at no additional cost until the program is completed.
After completing Part 1 of the TMS program at your own pace, you are entitled to participate in the second part of the On-Demand Online TMS Certification Program.
Part 2 (Hands-On Practical)
The second part of our On-Demand TMS Training and Certification Program includes live, remotely supervised one-on-one practical training, to teach you how to operate TMS for clinical applications, along with a personal Q&A session with Academy experts. This hands-on training part of our course program is 100% live, offering direct, person-to-person supervision and interaction. One of our TMS experts at the Academy of Brain Stimulation will guide you remotely through the entire set of practical procedures, including operating the TMS equipment and applying various therapeutic protocols used in psychiatry, neurology, and rehabilitation.
Duration of the live Hands-On Practical session: Up to 3 hours, often less for experienced participants.

Certification
